Bio

Jiszelle Cross is an actor, singer, director, writer, and multidisciplinary artist currently in her third year at New York University, pursuing a BFA in Drama at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Her training is rooted in classical performance, with a strong focus on Shakespeare, as well as contemporary work, including Chekhov. She is drawn to work that challenges range and transformation, striving to fully inhabit the TRUTH of each character she portrays. This is reflected in her recent performance as Lord Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, where she explored both the authority of a father and the charisma of an entertainer. As a self-driven artist, she is constantly seeking growth, whether through her formal training or by teaching herself new skills, such as playing the guitar. She approaches every challenge with discipline and curiosity, always pushing to expand her craft. She is committed to telling truthful, dynamic stories and looks forward to continuing to grow as an artist.
